The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is made up of a group of teachers, counselors, nurses, and administrators that have completed specialized training to identify, refer, intervene, and support students at risk. The goal of the Grove City Senior High School SAP team is to assist students to succeed educationally and help them deal with barriers that impede success. Together with our SAP liaison, we work together to address behaviors that may affect the health, safety, and welfare of any and all of our students. Some examples of why someone may be referred to the SAP team are:
- Poor or declining grades
- Absenteeism or tardy
- Substance abuse
- Experiencing mental health problems
- Any behaviors or actions that may affect the health, safety, or welfare of a student
