District Enrollment & Kindergarten Registration

  • Kindergarten Registration Details:

    The policy of the Grove City Area School District requires that all kindergarten children entering school for the upcoming school year must have their fifth birthday on or before September 1st.  
     
    The following information is required:
    1. State Issued Birth Certificate
    2. Student Health History
    3. Record of Immunization 
    4. Proof of Residency (2 different sources)

    Registration usually takes place during April for Kindergarter Registration.  It is recommended that only the child being registered is present with you.  Any registrations after this date must be completed at the District Registration Office located in the High School.  The office is open during regular school hours.  Contact Heather Carothers for more information.
     
    If it is your intent to hold your child until the next school year, please notify the office at 724-458-8101 before registration begins between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

  • District Registration Details:

    District registration is done at the Registration Office in the Sr. High School during regular school hours, however, the office is only open on Tuesdays throughout the summer. When registering your student, please make sure that you bring the following information:  
     
    1.  State Issued Birth Certificate
    2.  Health History
    3.  Immunization Records
    4.  Proof of Residency
     
    - Homeowner - two (2)  proofs of residency in the name of the parent/guardian
    - Mortgage document
    - Bill for utilities or services that are connected to the residence by pipeline, wire or cable (i.e. water,      gas, electric and cable TV, borough bill, recent real estate tax bill)
    - Renter - two (2) rental proofs 
    - Copy of Lease or Landlord Verification Letter
    - Grove City Area School District "Lessee Affidavit" (annual renewal required)

    - Homeowner:  Property Tax Bill or Settlement Papers
    - Renter: a copy of the Lease or Landlord Verification Letter
